12 REASONS TO DEAL WITH A MORTGAGE ADVISER
An adviser will deal with you in the way that you prefer, at your convenience, including by home visit if you prefer
A good adviser will have access to a vast range of products from a variety of lenders enabling them to pinpoint the best deal for your particular situation using sophisticated software tools
Every lender has slightly different lending criteria and an adviser will know these inside out, reducing the risk of rejection. Too many rejections will count against you for future applications.
Arranging a mortgage is a very time consuming business, an adviser will process the application for you, saving time and freeing you to get on with your life
An adviser can negotiate with potential lenders on your behalf where necessary
An adviser will look at your whole situation so ensuring the most appropriate product for your needs, present and future, is recommended
An adviser will progress applications on your behalf, answering any queries that may arise
An adviser will liaise with, and progress matters with all involved with a house purchase. This includes Estate Agents, Lenders, Surveyors, Solicitors and other interested parties.
An adviser will always act in your interests, not those of the bank.
An adviser will build a long term professional relationship with you and will be around in the future to answer any questions and deal with any future needs
An adviser will be in touch when any initial deal period expires to advise you again and ensure you don’t get trapped on the lender’s standard rate.
An adviser will generally be able to save pounds on ancillary insurance products and ensure that you have the right products for your needs.
June 2016 – 5 out of 5 stars
Russell got us an excellent deal on a remortgage with a vastly improved interest rate and reduced mortgage payment. Shortly afterwards we decided to move house and Russell managed to arrange our new mortgage and port our old mortgage so we didn't get charged anything, having only recently remortgaged.

Very helpful and responsive, promptly picked up my request and provided sound guidance on the option available.
I was looking to re mortgage to consolidate a couple of loans. Russell explained everything in plain English also coming up with suggestions I hadn't considered. He made sure I was comfortable with the repayments and managed to save me 500 a month. The new mortgage has now been applied for.

Russell Tilbury was well informed, personable whilst offering a professional service. I found Russell to be confident and with the above skill was quite comfortable sharing my financial information with him. He also responded quickly to me on contact”

We are looking to re-mortgage to provide funding for an extension to our property. Russell took time to explain the differing products options in terms of Fixed/Tracker/Discount etc and also the pros and cons of the various lenders. However Russell left the choice down to us having explained the detail. Russell was also honest and tactful in his analysis of our financial situation. We are currently drawing up architect plans with a view to starting building work in Spring 2016. From the initial assessment we can afford to borrow the additional monies we require.
